Outsourced data management: All subsequent work on the
database can be done by in-house staff after training, OR can be
outsourced to SCS with all appropriate security controls.
Data enhancement: You can acquire any of a great number
of government or private databases or services, at appropriate prices
determined by the agency or company, and enhance your database with
data matched against the external data. (For example, matching
demographic data.)
Backup and recovery and storage services: periodically,
the database(s) can be backed up to SCS servers, or backup up in-house
and sent to SCS for storage and recovery needs. Note that this
includes not only disaster recovery but also personnel changes,
malicious attack, and so many more events.
